In episode 8, I welcome Mark Charles and Dr. Soong-Chan Rah, co-authors of the book Unsettling Truths: The Ongoing Dehumanizing Legacy of the Doctrine of Discovery, available at your local bookstore. Mark is a man of Navajo and Dutch American decent, a speaker and writer, and candidate for President of the United States in 2020. Soong-Chan is the Milton B. Engebretson Professor of Church Growth and Evangelism at North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois. It was an honor and a serious education to speak with these two and read their book.

  1. Thanks Eric for doing this. I work with the Gila River nation and they are learning about this but I have been frustrated in seeing that there are so few white people that are aware.
